Information:
Campers will be exposed to and challenged to complete a CHA Certified Level of I, II, III

All campers will learn improved grooming skills with the expectation
of expert grooming at level IV, including leg and hoof care, mane pulling, clipping and braiding.
Campers will improve riding level and will ride or
handle more than one horse per day. 3s and 4s will be expected to ride at least 3 and care for them all competently.
Additional skills to be taught:
Basic survival skills in the outdoors with emphasis on hydration for horse and camper, packing and unpacking for horse shows
including feed preparation and safe packing of hay nets, preparation of ready rooms, proper eye and ear care of your horse,
care of the tack, basic first aid for horse and rider.
We trail ride or hike to neighboring farm for swimming so you will need to bring your swim
suit on day one and may leave it until Friday. Also bring one change of clothes and rain wear including rubber boots
in case of inclement weather. Thanksgiving campers will need coats, hats, scarfs and gloves instead of swim suits.
Sun screen and insect repellent
will be provided, but send special brands if your child has allergies, etc. PLEASE LABEL ALL MEDS WITH NAME AND INSTRUCTIONS.
All campers must alert counselors
when they leave for the day.
Early drop
off and late pick ups are allowed. After 6:00 pm there is a $6.00 per hour fee.
